Description
The Xmetix TAK710 is an electronic tourniquet built so a single responder can act fast. Pull the red safety pin, press the button, and the device applies pressure on its own in roughly 20 seconds with no training and no second person needed. One-handed operation also lets you treat yourself.
Automatic sizing fits a wide range of limb sizes through a nylon strap, with no manual adjustment. The device sets and holds accurate pressure for up to 6 hours. At 6.34 oz (180 g) it stays light in a kit or pocket, and intuitive operation keeps it usable in the dark or when the unit is wet.
An IP56 rating helps the TAK710 keep working in dust and wet conditions. Suited to military and civilian use, it lets one responder treat several casualties in sequence.
